"Necessity is the mother of invention"!

Almost there re Simply Music's NEW WEBSITE and 'ONLINE' Percussion & Technology Workshops:

As a direct result of this pandemic Simply Music has spent the last few months working on an online model that will soon allow access to its bespoke software through a downloadable subscription model.

By subscribing to online content the teacher can choose from numerous video demonstrations and play along performance videos too. These will be supported by downloadable written/pictorial instructions on how to hold and play each of the instruments correctly.

All of this can then be achieved by using standard sets of percussion instruments and a number of Boomwhackers.

This will be a new way to gain access to music technology in education workshops for the foreseeable future until such a time as the Covid restrictions are lifted enough to allow the return of Simply Music’s Percussion & Technology Workshops in person.

Working on ways for teachers to get access online to Simply Music's Percussion & Technology Workshops. The plan is to have downloadable content for use in the classroom in order to experience 'live' music performance during these socially distanced Covid times! All the teacher will need are some boomwhackers and/or standard percussion instruments normally available in the school. The plan is to offer 'As Gaeilge' versions wherever possible too.
